Red Beach

Red Beach is one of the most famous and popular beaches of the island.

The beach landscape consists of impressive red coloured cliffs originated from volcano’s lava, small and red pebbles and clear dark blue waters providing a spectacular scene. Probably unique in the world and perhaps only found on Mars.

Red Beach is located in the southeastern part of the island, in the area of ​​Akrotiri, approximately 8 km from Fira Town.
